An unscientific poll suggest that parents want to spend more quality time with their children. Until they are snowed in for a few days.Then we are praying for a ridiculous amount of patience. It goes without saying that kids love snow days but, if you are a parent, you can go a little stir crazy. Need some fun snow day ideas? Why not make some snow ice cream? You are sure to find a recipe on Pinterest. Or, you can put some food coloring in a spray bottle and make really bright color snow. Of course, I would leave out the yellow, it might concern the neighbors.
I have a better idea. Who wants to build a snowman? Or a snowwoman? Or a snowcreature? And do it for a purpose? Liberty Hill Church in Canton, GA is hosting a contest for the most creative built snow creation. The winner will receive a hot chocolate gift package and $100.00 will be given in honor of the winner toward the Hasty Elementary #LoveThyNeighbor partnership. By partnering with Hasty Elementary, Liberty Hill Church is encouraging the teachers and providing assistance to parents and students to make sure they find success in education.
