The Service League of Cherokee County will present the Annual Run for the Children 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run on Saturday, March 24, 2012. The 5K is at 8 a.m. and the Fun Run is at 9 a.m. The run starts at the Cannon Park gazebo in downtown Canton and ends at Brown Park. Registration for the 5K is $20 prior to March 17 and $25 from March 18 through race day; registration for the Fun Run is $15 in advance or on race day. Entry information is online at www.active.com.
