Riverfest arts and crafts festival

The Service League of Cherokee County will present the 27th annual Riverfest arts and crafts festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday,Sept. 24, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at Boling Park at 1200 Marietta Highway in Canton. The juried show features more than 200 arts and crafts exhibitors, entertainers, children's area activities and food. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children age 10 and younger. The League is more than 75 years old and uses all proceeds from the fund-raiser to serve the needy children of Cherokee County. The event will take place rain or shine. All areas will be handicap accessible. Free parking and shuttle services are available.Boling Park is on the banks of the Etowah River in Canton behind Cherokee High School.
