Soleil Spring Fling

Soleil Laurel Canyon, a 330-acre resort-inspired community in Canton is hosting a Spring Fling on Saturday, April 2 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a wide range of events and activities at the Active Adult community.

Gardening expert, radio and television host Walter Reeves will conduct a gardening clinic and demonstration at the clubhouse from 12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Reeves, author of nine books on gardening, writes a gardening column for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, hosts a gardening talk show on 750-WSB Radio and hosts “Your Southern Garden” on Georgia Public Television.

Guests will have an opportunity to tour the 13 model homes at the master-planned community; each decorated in a distinctive style, as well as attend an interior design clinic at the community’s Design Center.

The festivities include two golf clinics at the adjacent Fairways of Canton golf course and a tennis clinic hosted by Tom Cobb, Soleil’s full-time tennis pro.

Guests will enjoy catered refreshments at the clubhouse along with snacks at the Sales Gallery. Give-aways will take place throughout the day at the Clubhouse and Golf Club.

11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Golf Clinic at Fairways of Canton Golf Course

12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Gardening Clinic in Soleil’s 28,000 square foot clubhouse and horticulture center

1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tennis Clinic hosted by Tom Cobb

2 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Interior Design Clinic in Soleil’s on-site Design Center

3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Golf Clinic at Fairways of Canton Golf Course

Shuttle buses will be available to transport visitors from the Clubhouse to the Sales Gallery and from the overflow parking lot at the Golf Clubhouse.

Designed for ages 55 and up, Soleil offers 14 floor plans ranging in size from 1,518 to 2,727 square feet of space with prices starting in the mid-$200,000s. Residents have the opportunity to participate in more than 50 social clubs and regularly scheduled activities that range from Friday night movies to arts and crafts classes, cooking demonstrations and wine tastings.
