“Whether you are currently in a job search, are entering the job market, or are considering a possible career move in the future, it’s critical that you market yourself effectively and separate yourself from other candidates seeking the same position,” said Amy Leatherman with Chattahoochee Technical College, who is serving as chair of this year’s Resumes And More subcommittee. ”A job search is, in many ways, a sales presentation that requires proper marketing and planning. The team of experts who are generously donating their time and expertise to this event have one specific goal in mind --- provide the candidate with the professional advice, assistance, and tools that will make them more confident and more effective in presenting their value to potential employers.”

The event is an “excellent way for the Chamber to partner with the community in order to assist with workforce preparedness,” added Chamber Board Chair Jeff Rusbridge with Dyer & Rusbridge, P.C.

The public is encouraged to take advantage of this free opportunity. For more information, visit www.CherokeeChamber.com or feel free to contact the Chamber at 770-345-0400.
