Expect Traffic Delays During Sequoyah Homecoming Parade

The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office is informing residents and motorist that traffic delays could occur Friday around Sequoyah High School during its annual homecoming parade.

The delays are expected to start around 6 p.m. and end around 7 p.m., the agency said. The parade will begin at Sunnyside Church at 2510 East Cherokee Drive and travel north to Hickory Road where it will turn left to end at Sequoyah High School.

Motorist are strongly encouraged to find alternate routes during the parade.
