Charges are still pending the completion of the Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team’s investigation of the two-vehicle crash, a spokesperson with the agency said on Tuesday.

According to an accident report released by the Georgia State Patrol, Courtney Grace Reece of Waleska was driving northbound in a 2012 Ford Fusion SE along S.R. 108/Fincher Road around 7:08 p.m. May 10 when she collided with 2008 Ford F-150 driven by Woodstock resident David Wilson Rogers, 44.

The report notes Wilson was traveling southbound and was negotiating a left curve as Reece was traveling northbound while negotiating a right curve.

“The vehicles met in the curve and impacted head-on,” the report states. The report notes weather conditions were clear and the roadway surface was dry at the time of the crash.

Rogers was injured in the crash and transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital for treatment. Reece was killed in the accident. A passenger in Reece’s vehicle, seven-year-old sister Haley Reece, was airlifted an area hospital where she was treated for non-fatal injuries.
