Former Sheriff Donates $20K To Anna Crawford Children’s Center
The funds were proceeds from the Roger Garrison Charity Golf Tournament at Hawks Ridge Golf Club earlier this year.

From Cherokee County Sheriff Department: Former Cherokee County Sheriff Roger Garrison donated $20,000 Monday to the Anna Crawford Children’s Center. The funds were proceeds from the Roger Garrison Charity Golf Tournament at Hawks Ridge Golf Club earlier this year. “Sheriff Roger Garrison Charities” was formed in 2008 and has raised nearly $500,000, supporting Meals on Wheels, the Malon D. Mimms Boys and Girls Club, Cherokee CASA, Anna Crawford’s Children’s Center and The America Cancer Society over the last 10 years.
Later this year, Sheriff Frank Reynolds will officially assume the charity's namesake, continuing what Sheriff Garrison began a decade ago.
“I look forward to taking the leadership role as it becomes 'Sheriff Frank Reynolds Charities,'" Reynolds said. "I also have some other fundraising ideas in addition to the annual golf tournament, which has been so successful each year."
