Former 'Young and Restless' Actor Arrested on Child Molestation Charge — Again

WALTON COUNTY, FL — Less than two months after he was booked into a Georgia jail on a charge of child molestation, a former television actor is facing those same accusations in a neighboring state.

Walton County, Florida, Sheriff's Office jail records show former "The Young and the Restless" actor Corey Seth Sligh, 29, was booked into its facility on Sunday, Nov. 27 on one count of lewd and lascivious molestation on a juvenile younger than 12 years old.

Sligh previously had a recurring role on the long-running daytime television show.

Those jail records show Sligh, who provided a Canton, Georgia, mailing address, posted a $100,000 cash bond on Monday, Nov. 28.

According to an arrest report provided by Walton County sheriff's officials, Sligh was arrested on an active felony warrant in DeFuniak Springs, the small county seat. The report notes the incident took place in Walton County, Florida.

In October, Sligh was booked into the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center on one count of child molestation. According to the Cherokee Sheriff's Office, the victim was younger than 10 years old at the time of the incident and was "known" to Sligh. Sheriff's office spokesperson Lt. Jay Baker also said the child's parents reported the incident to officials.

A report released by the Cherokee County officials shows the alleged act was reported to police Sept. 24.

The International Business Times reports Sligh appeared as a bartender and waiter on the hit soap opera. His IMDB page also notes he appeared in the TV series "All About Lizzie."
