GBI Investigating CVS Robberies in Cherokee, North Georgia
The agency said the suspect, armed with a handgun, demanded Dilaudid at each of the stores.
The state’s top law enforcement agency is now lending its services to help solve a string of armed robberies at CVS Pharmacies across north Georgia, including an incident that occurred in Cherokee County.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public to help them identify the man in the above photos and sketches, who they believe is responsible for multiple armed robberies at the pharmacies.

The GBI states the incidents occurred from October 2014 through March 2015. The man was armed with a handgun and demanded Dilaudid, a narcotic pain medication, in the incidents, the GBI added.
On March 7, a suspect entered the CVS on Highway 92 at Woodstock Road in southwest Cherokee and demanded the drug. The man claimed to have a gun in his possession, but no gun was spotted on the suspect. The man left empty handed after he was told the store did not have the drug.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office, the Blairsville Police Department, the Calhoun Police Department and the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office are collaborating in an effort to solve these cases.
