Graduation Ceremonies Will Cause Traffic Delays in Woodstock
First Baptist Church of Woodstock will host the events, and residents will experience delays on S.R. 92 and Trickum and Neese roads.

The Woodstock Police Department is warning residents of traffic delays later this week due to graduation ceremonies for the Cherokee County School District.

First Baptist Church of Woodstock will host six ceremonies, two of each will occur Thursday, May 28, Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30. The graduation schedule is as follows:
Thursday, May 28

- 4 p.m.: Creekview High School
- 8 p.m.: Cherokee High School
Friday, May 29
- 4 p.m.: Sequoyah High School
- 8 p.m.: River Ridge High School
Saturday, May 30
- 9 a.m.: Etowah High School
- 1 p.m.: Woodstock High School
Residents are advised to expect delays at least one hour before each ceremony along Highway 92 and on Trickum and Neese roads.
Uniformed officers will be posted to assist motorists with navigating traffic congestion. However, the agency strongly advises citizens to avoid this area if possible.
