Rep. Turner was honored for his support of Georgia’s rivers, lakes, groundwater and streams during the 2015 legislative session.
“It is a great honor to be named as a Clean Water Champion by the Georgia Water Coalition for the second year in a row,” the state legislator said. “This year’s honorees come from all over the state and represent all points on the political spectrum, proving that the environment is not a partisan issue. In fact we all share a common interest in making sure that we have clean water, and we showed we can be advocates for that and good governance at the same time.”
