Have Coffee With Canton Police On Oct. 24
The police department's Coffee with a Cop event will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24 at Chick-fil-A.

CANTON, GA -- The next installment of the Canton Police Department's Coffee With A Cop series is just two days away, providing residents a chance to learn more about the men and women sworn to serve the residents who call the city home.
The agency will meet and greet residents over a cup of Joe from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24 at Chick-fil-A at 130 Keith Drive.
This ongoing outreach initiative allows officers and citizens to "connect, engage, problem solve and build important trusting relationships, which are vital to improving the quality of life for everyone in the community," the police department added (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Coffee with a Cop is one of the most important monthly activities the department hosts, and is an essential service the agency performs in an effort to maintain strong relationships with its citizens as well as stakeholders, Canton police said.
