Holly Springs Wins Partner In Education Award
This year's net proceeds from the event will be donated to L.R. Tippens Education Center.

From The City of Holly Springs: The City of Holly Springs is proud to announce that it has received the Partners In Education Award of Excellence for its outstanding partnership with L.R. Tippens Education Center. May 3, 2018, the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce presented Mayor Pro Tem Michael R. Zenchuk II and Principal Kelly Strickland with the award in recognition of our outstanding partnership.
The Holly Springs Police Department has developed a mentoring program with L.R. Tippens Education Center to provide awareness and make a difference in the lives of the students. The City of Holly Springs hosts an annual Memorial Day 5K and Fun Run. This year’s net proceeds from the event will be donated to L.R. Tippens Education Center.
