Ice Rink Adds Romantic Touch To Canton For Valentine's Day

Canton, GA -- Cherokee County residents looking for a unique way to commemorate Valentine’s Day would be hard pressed to miss an upcoming two-day event hosted by the Canton Main Street Program and the Canton Tourism organization.

The Let’s Skate Valentine’s Day Weekend will roll into town Feb. 13-14. Residents will be able to skate in an ice rink from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on both days. The cost to skate will be $10 for a 30-minute session, which also includes a pair of skates.

The city is also offering a group rate of 10 or more people who will be allowed to skate for $8 each. The skating rink will be located in front City Hall parking lot, which is located next to Brown Park.

Public restrooms will be available for use, and children are welcome to attend the event.
