Canton, GA -- The Cherokee County Environmental Health Department conducted food service inspections Jan. 13-20 at the following establishments:

• Observed dish washer handling soiled dishes and then fail to wash his hands before handling clean dishes. The manager corrected and hands properly washed.
• Observed build up on shelves and between equipment and must keep equipment clean.
• Observed cove base floor tile missing and must be repaired in the kitchen.

• Observed a build-up of some sort of encrusted black material on the kick-plat. Ice machine must be cleaned and sanitized.
• Observed no chemical test kit provided, when using chemical sanitizer at three compartment sink. Must have test kit to ensure the right amount of chemicals to use.
• Observed floor tiles and coving are chipped and some are missing. Must ensure the floor tile is repaired.
