Kroger Recalls Seasonings Due to Salmonella Risk
The recall affects stores in 30 states, including Georgia.

Grocery store giant Kroger has issued a recall on four types of seasonings after routine testing performed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration resulted in a positive hit for Salmonella.
Kroger Ground Cinnamon, Kroger Garlic Powder, Kroger Coarse Ground Black Pepper and Kroger Bac’n Buds products sold in 31 states -- including Georgia -- have been pulled from shelves after a sample of Kroger Garlic Powder in North Augusta, South Carolina, tested positive for Salmonella, the company said.

To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with these products, but out of an abundance of caution, Kroger is recalling all products created on the same equipment in the same facility where the contaminated sample originated.

- Kroger Bac’n Buds UPC: 1111070025 Sell by: May 20 18PS4 12.0 oz
Anyone who purchased the above products is urged to stop using them, and to return them to a Kroger store to receive a full refund or replacement.
