Man, 46, Falls 16 Feet From Storage Tank

Canton, GA -- A man was severely injured when he fell about 16 feet from a storage tank Thursday afternoon in Canton.

The 46-year-old man was performing construction work near Lower Scott Mill Road and S.R. 140/Hickory Flat Highway when the accident happened, the Canton Police Department said. The agency was dispatched to the call around 4 p.m. Dec. 10.
The victim suffered ”severe injuries,” and has been transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital for treatment. The man’s condition is unknown at this time, and Canton police and fire crews are on the scene investigating the incident.
