Man, 60, Hit By Minivan in Canton
The victim was trying to cross Marietta Road Saturday evening when he was struck by a minivan.

The Canton Police Department is asking the public to help them to track down a vehicle they believe was involved in a hit and run Saturday evening.
At around 8:20 p.m. March 28, a 60-year-old man was hit by a vehicle as he crossed Marietta Road near Kennett Street, the agency wrote on its blog.
The man said he was crossing the roadway when he was hit by a blue minivan driven by a Hispanic man, Canton police said.

The vehicle continued south toward Bells Ferry Road and ”failed to stop after striking the victim,” according to the agency.
The victim was taken to Northside Hospital-Cherokee for evaluation. The extent of his injuries is unknown, but he was conscious and alert, police noted.
