Man, 67, Reported Missing Found Behind Canton Restaurant
The resident, who suffers from Alzheimer's Disease, was treated for "hypothermic symptoms" after he was found behind Little Caesar's Pizza.

Canton, GA -- An elderly man reported missing overnight Friday was admitted to the hospital for exposure after he was found behind a Canton pizza restaurant.

Mack Brown, 67, was reported missing after he left Northside-Hospital Cherokee around 12:15 a.m. Jan. 22, the Canton Police Department said in its press release.
The agency was notified of the missing resident and arrived on the scene to assess the situation. Police then issued a Mattie’s Call to help locate Brown.

Along with officers, crews from Canton Fire Department, the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office and Cherokee County Fire’s search and rescue team set up a perimeter and began a search for Brown, who police say suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease.
Fortunately, Brown was found around 4:50 a.m. Friday “lying on the ground” behind Little Caesar’s Pizza on Riverstone Parkway.
Canton police say Brown was transported back to the hospital with “hypothermic symptoms,” but was in stable condition at the time of his discovery.
