Mother Of Man Busted For Fentanyl Pills Arrested For Trafficking
The mother of the Woodstock man who was arrested for $250,000 worth of pills laced with fentanyl has been arrested for trafficking, weapons.
WOODSTOCK, GA -- The mother of the man who was arrested earlier this month for manufacturing and distribution an estimated $250,000 worth of counterfeit Fentanyl and Xanax tablets, has also been arrested.
Donna Brown, 52 of Acworth, was arrested March 14 after agents of the Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad and deputies from Clay County, North Carolina, searched a home in Hayesville, North Carolina belonging to Brown.
Assisted by the Georgia State Patrol, agents arrested Brown in Calhoun. Brown was charged with trafficking heroin, trafficking fentanyl, possession of THC with intent to distribute, possession of Xanax with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Dronabinol Liquid - two counts, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of LSD.

She is currently in the Cherokee County Adult Detention without bond.
The next day on Friday, March 15, Nacotics Squad Agents and members of the Haralson/Paulding Drug Task Force searched a storage facility rented in Brown's name in Paulding County. A cache of weapons suspected to be owned by her son, Fredrick Michelsen, were located inside the storage unit. Agents seized over 20 handguns and long guns with a variety of exotic accessories. Two bump stocks were also located inside the unit.

This investigation is still ongoing and additional charges are forthcoming.
Michelsen and his wife, who live in Woodstock, were arrested March 6 on multiple charges including manufacturing and distribution of an estimated 50,000 counterfeit tablets. The tablets are suspected to contain Fentanyl and Xanax, and total nearly $250,000.
Fredrick Michelsen, 35 of Woodstock, and his wife, Elizabeth, 28, were both charged with trafficking heroin, trafficking fentanyl, possession of THC with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of Xanax, possession of LSD, felony possession of marijuana and possession of Dronabinol liquid.
Fredrick was also charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction of an officer and escape.
Elizabeth was subsequently charged with possession of THC wax and possession of a Schedule 1 drug.
Investigations into the couple, who live off Reed Lane in Cherokee County, were conducted by the Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad, Bartow/Cartersville Drug Task Force, the Drug Enforcement Administration Cyber Group and the U. S. Postal Inspectors.
Agents, K-9 and U.S. Postal Inspectors located nearly an ounce of cocaine, approximately 14 grams of heroin, approximately 1-pound of marijuana and an estimated 50,000 counterfeit tablets (30.84 pounds) in vacuum sealed bags, totaling roughly $250,000. The tablets are suspected to contain fentanyl and alprazolam, or Xanax.
The Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad is a joint task force working in Cherokee County to investigate drug related violations. Participating agencies include the Cherokee Sheriff's Office, the Canton Police Department, the Woodstock Police Department, the Holly Springs Police Department, the Ball Ground Police Department, the Cherokee County Marshal's Office, the District Attorney's Office for the Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit, and the Georgia State Patrol.
