New Ambulance Added To Cherokee Fire Station

Holly Springs, GA -- Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services has added another ambulance this week to the southern end of the county.

The ambulance is housed at Fire Station No. 8 at 260 Hickory Road in Holly Springs.
“That area of Cherokee County continues to grow and the calls for emergency services have increased, so we realized that it was necessary for us to place another ambulance in that area to respond to those calls,” said EMS Chief Danny West.

The new ambulance was put into service Sunday morning and since that time, it has been dispatch to 11 calls. The new ambulance will be available to citizens 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
