New Officer Joins Canton Police Department
Matthew Naliwajka is a recent graduate of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Cherokee County.
CANTON, GA — The Canton Police Department held a swearing-in ceremony last week for the newest member of its force.
Matthew Naliwajka took the oath of office on Friday, June 29, and was sworn into the position by Municipal Court Judge Darrell Caudill at Canton City Hall.
Officer Nalwajka is a recent graduate of Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Cherokee County. Family, friends and other members of the Canton Police Department were in attendance to show their support of the new officer.
