Scream on the Green in Canton: See 'Hocus Pocus 2' on Sunday (atlantaonthecheap.com) — Free outdoor movie nights are coming to The Mill on Etowah in Canton, with "Hocus Pocus 2" on October 11 and a Monsters Inc/Goonies double feature on October 18. Bring blankets or chairs, enjoy fall fun on select Sundays, and take advantage of several other Halloween-themed events happening around Canton this October. 
• Cherokee County Art & Jazz Festival on October 24th (atlantaonthecheap.com) — Cherokee Veterans Park in Canton will host the free Cherokee County Art & Jazz Festival on Saturday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Expect live jazz, local art vendors, food trucks, and beer and wine for purchase, in what organizers say is a greatly expanded version of the event. It's an easy, low-cost way to enjoy arts and music close to home.
