'Pay It Fur-ward' Helps Cherokee Animal Shelter
The Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency will be collecting items to donate to the Canton-based facility.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- If you're looking for a way to help out Cherokee County's most vulnerable pets, then this collection drive may be just for you.
The Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency will be accepting donations to deliver to the Cherokee County Animal Shelter in Canton. The initiative will kick off Monday, Aug. 8 and will run through Sept. 12.
Items on the agency's wish list include paper towels, Equine Pine bedding pellets, lavender oil, Windex glass cleaner, dry dog or cat food, Kong or other indestructible chew toys, hard or interactive cat toys and 60-gallon heavy/contractor trash bags.

Residents can drop off these items at CRPA's Recreation Center, which is located at 7545 Main Street Building 200 in Woodstock.
