Police Investigate Smash and Grab Burglary At Shoe Store

Canton, GA -- The Canton Police Department is asking residents to help them identify a suspect in a burglary at a shoe store at the Canton Marketplace shopping center.

Officers responded to an alarm call around 1:40 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4 at Off Broadway Shoes, which is located at 1810 Cumming Highway Suite 830.

Officers arrived and found a brick had been lodged through the glass door and shoe boxes along the sidewalk. Items taken during the burglary appear to have been boots and shoes, the agency said.

Canton police detectives are also working with their counterparts with the Cobb County Police Department to see if the incident is connected to a burglary at another Off Broadway Shoes location in unincorporated Kennesaw.
