Old Jones Road sits off Union Hill Road near the county's border with the city of Milton.
Jordan was allegedly at the home "making threats to shoot his wife and mother," according to the sheriff's office's be-on-the-lookout alert issued Tuesday.
"Through (the) investigation, witnesses stated Robert Jordan kidnapped his wife on the previous date, struck her with a pistol, held her at gun point and fired a shot off near her head and then fled the scene on this date," the agency noted in the alert.
Lt. Jay Baker, spokesperson with the sheriff's office, said Jordan showed up at his wife's home on Quail Hollow Drive in Woodstock Wednesday afternoon. The woman called 911, and sheriff's deputies located Jordan in a shed behind the home.
Jordan was taken into custody without incident.
