Race To Benefit Local Students Attending Reinhardt University
Canton residents are invited to take part in the 2015 5K for A DAY and other events related to the annual community initiative.

Residents are invited to join Reinhardt University for its 2015 5K for A Day, which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Cannon Park in downtown Canton.

Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the 5K Run/Walk begins at 8 a.m. The race will be held rain or shine!
“Making a difference in a student’s life is our goal,” said Dale Morrissey, director of fund raising campaigns and church relations. “Come out on Sept. 19 and support Reinhardt student scholarships. Every dollar raised is matched by the University.”

You can register today for the 5K at www.reinhardt.edu/5k. All major age place groups will be awarded, as will first, second and third place trophies, male and female.
Ways to Support A DAY for Reinhardt leading up to the 5K for A DAY:
- Monday, Sept. 14 –Reinhardt Ribbons will be displayed on businesses through the week. Ribbons are available for purchase for $25, or 2 or more for $20 each.
- Wednesday, Sept. 16 – Show your support of Reinhardt with a Dress Down Day for your business. Stickers can be purchased for $5 each, and are to be worn on this day.
- Thursday, Sept. 17 – Visit the Campus Day! Have lunch in Reinhardt’s Gordy Dining Center.
- Friday, Sept. 18 – Chick-fil-A Spirit Night! Enjoy your favorite meal between 4-8 p.m. at the Riverstone or Canton Marketplace dining locations. Make sure you tell them Reinhardt sent you! Reinhardt will receive a percentage of the proceeds back toward the A DAY campaign.

A DAY for Reinhardt is an annual community initiative that generates grants for Cherokee County students attending Reinhardt University.
A DAY underwrites the University’s Cherokee County Grant program, which provides eligible students with as much as $8,000 during their four years at the University. Since 1988 A DAY for Reinhardt has raised more than $3.5 million in financial assistance for local students.
