Recruitment Fair Connects Residents With New Jobs
The Woodstock Goodwill Career Center will host the third annual New Year, New Job recruitment fair Jan. 14.

Residents looking for employment are invited to visit the Goodwill of North Georgia’s Woodstock Career Center on Wednesday for the third annual New Year. New Job. event.
Dozens of employers will be at the center 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 14 recruiting employees for their respective companies.
“While we host job fairs at our career centers throughout the year, New Year. New Job. gives individuals looking for work the chance to connect with dozens of employers on a single day,” said Elaine Armstrong, Goodwill of North Georgia’s director of public relations. “We’ve found that after the holiday season people tend to get back into the swing of their job search, so we created this event to give them a jump-start and to help area employers fill open positions at the start of the year.”

All ten career centers across north Georgia — Athens, Atlanta, Cartersville, Decatur, Duluth, Oakwood, Rome, Smyrna, Stockbridge and Woodstock — will be participating in Wednesday’s event.
Employers will be at each location recruiting workers for professional, warehouse and retail positions.

Employers slated to set up at the Woodstock Career Center include Aarons Inc., Quizno’s, Ashton Staffing, Homesmart, Avon, US Army, Scotts Lawn Service, Labor Staffing Inc., Advance Auto Parts, Cabela’s, Panera Bread, Pro Staff, The Home Depot, Express Employment Professionals, Bright Horizons Family Solutions, Get Covered America, DeVry University and RGIS.
Attendees should dress in professional, appropriate attire, come prepared with copies of their resumes and bring a blue or black ink pen.
