Registration for Winter Classes is Open at Elm Street Cultural Arts Village

Elm Street Cultural Arts VIllage offers fun and unique drama classes for a wide range of ages. Classes start in January. Check it out and register at http://www.elmstreetarts.org/about/classes-workshops/winter-spring-classes-camps/

All classes include materials, costuming, Elm Street t-shirt and a digital download of the final performance (where applicable).

Level 1, 2 & 3 Playmakers – The program that started it all back in 1991! Have a total creative experience as you write, produce and perform an original play in just a few weeks. Age appropriate groups will brainstorm characters, plot lines, settings and bring ideas to life with direction from qualified Elm Street teachers & directors. All students have the same amount of stage time – there is not a ‘star’ system in these classes!

Triple Threat Broadway – If you like to sing and dance at the same time, learn how to make the most of your talent as you work on Broadway show tunes, dance routines and the spoken scenes that lead into the production number.

Stage Makeup Design – Actors are capable of transforming themselves into different characters, but what do they do when their character is a different age, an animal, or even a monster? They need theatrical makeup! In this class we will learn how to transform actor’s faces for their characters by learning and practicing makeup techniques for aging, illness, animals, magical creatures and even zombies!
