Traffic Alert: Reavis Mountain Road Detour

From the Cherokee County Government:

The Cherokee County Roadway Capital Program Management Division announces that Reavis Mountain Road will be temporarily closed to through traffic from August 22, 2016 through approximately October 22, 2016, for the construction of a retaining wall in two locations.

A posted detour will be provided during the duration of the construction. The detour route utilizes Sperin Road, Conns Creek Road and SR 372 (Map Shown Below).

Cherokee County appreciates residents’ patience during the detour period and requests that motorists obey the detour for their safety as well as for the safety of their neighbors and contractors’ personnel.
