Sequoyah High School Earns International Skills Diploma Seal
Sequoyah is the fourth Cherokee County School District high school approved by the state to offer the seal.

HICKORY FLAT, GA -- Sequoyah High School is the fourth school in Cherokee County that's been granted approval by the Georgia Department of Education to issue the International Skills Diploma Seal to eligible graduating seniors beginning this year.
The program recognizes students who complete an “international education curriculum and engage in extracurricular activities and experiences that foster the achievement of global competencies."
The program signals to employers and higher education institutions that student is "prepared to participate in the global economy," the state Department of Education notes on its website.
