The largest AFJROTC Cadet Leadership Course in the United States, the week-long program in June was attended by 300 JROTC cadets -- including 19 from Sequoyah -- from across the country. The course challenges cadets both physically and mentally in order to prepare them for the rigors of leadership when they return to their respective units.

Students participate in obstacle courses, rappelling and orienteering training and are evaluated and scored daily in areas such as physical fitness, uniform and room inspections, academics, drill, orienteering, marksmanship and various sports competitions.
