Sequoyah Regional Library System Reopening With Limited Hours
Sequoyah Regional Library is reopening branches, starting with R.T. Jones Memorial Library Tuesday, and Woodstock Public Library on June 16.
CANTON, GA — Sequoyah Regional Library System branch doors are reopening with limited service hours and restrictions.
R.T. Jones Memorial Library will reopen Tuesday. Pickens County Library and Gilmer County Library will reopen on Thursday. Woodstock Public Library will reopen on June 16. Doors will be open Tuesdays through Fridays, noon-6 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Some changes were made to safely serve the community and ensure the health and welfare of staff.

- Staff will be wearing masks. The library appreciates you wearing your face covering when you visit.
- Staff assistance will be in a limited capacity. You are encouraged to continue using the official website and virtual services for staff assistance.
- Staff will remain behind the service desk, but will answer questions from that location.
- A limited number of socially-distanced computers will be available; however, staff will not be available to provide assistance.
- Seating areas may be socially distanced or unavailable.
- Sidewalk Service will continue for those who would like materials but would prefer to not come inside the library.
- Once returned, materials are held in “quarantine” for a limited time and will remain on your account until they are checked in.
- Overdue fines will not be charged for materials at this time.
- Libraries are not accepting donated materials at this time. Do not bring donations into the building or place donations into the outdoor book-return boxes.
- The varied schedule of fun library programming will continue online. Visit the calendar for a list of upcoming virtual events.
- The annual Summer Reading Program is taking place online in June and July.
- Conference rooms and community rooms will remain closed at this time.
