Thanksgiving Will Bring Sunny Skies, Cool Air to Canton
A 30 percent chance of rain will move into the area Wednesday evening, but will clear out in time for Turkey Day.

While a 30 percent chance of rain will move into Canton and metro Atlanta tonight, that weather is not expected to put a damper on your Thanksgiving celebration.
The National Weather Service says the bulk of the rain chances will occur before 11 p.m. tonight. Otherwise, residents will see partly cloudy skies and a low of 34 degrees.
Thanksgiving Day will be crisp and sunny, with highs reaching into the upper 40s and lows bottoming out to 29 degrees.

The weather will also be cooperative for those who are brave enough to partake in Black Friday shopping. Residents should expect sunny skies and a high around 49 degrees and a low right around the freezing mark.
A slight warming trend will move into the area this weekend. Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny and highs will range from the mid 50s to the mid 60s. The low temperatures on both days will stay in the 40s.

As a reminder, Canton city and Cherokee County government offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday. Those offices will reopen for normal hours on Monday.
