Wing and Rock Fest Set For June 4-5
The two-day festival will be held at the Etowah River Park in Canton.
If you like great tasting chicken wings with bold sauces, rockin’ music and a beautiful park, then you’ll love the 11th Annual Rock 100.5 Wing and Rock festival being held at its new location.
The festival will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 4 and from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 5 at the Etowah River Park.
The new park at 600 Brown Industrial Parkway features a playground, walking track, bridge over the river that leads to trails and an open-air amphitheater.

This free, two-day family friendly event offers something for everyone. The festival features some of metro Atlanta’s best tasting chicken wings from over a dozen restaurants plus great live music at the new park amphitheater. Festival goers will enjoy live music, cold beverages, watching the popular wing-eating contest, a kid zone with inflatable amusement rides or and a chance to do some shopping in the local arts and crafts area.

As the third largest chicken wing festival in the country with over 22,000 expected in attendance this year, festival goers can munch on tasty chicken wings from local wing experts like Wing Zone and Wing Stop while washing them down with a cold beverage.
All the participating wing vendors will be vying for plaques and medals for the best wings in a competition judged by local celebrities and the festival attendees. So be sure to mark your calendar for this great weekend of fun.
