Woman Accused In Canton Toddler's Death Charged With Murder
The woman is also charged on suspicion of concealing the death of another person and second degree cruelty to children, police said.
CANTON, GA — A woman accused in the death of a Canton toddler is now facing a second-degree murder charge, Canton Police said late Friday afternoon.
The toddler was found Dec. 14 in a Hearthstone Landing Drive home.
Police told Patch Monday the female toddler has not yet been identified and the cause of death has not been determined. The body was taken to the GBI Crime Lab.

Phillissa Diallo, 40, was charged on suspicion of concealing the death of another person and second degree cruelty to children in connection with the case, police said. She was taken to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
