ZombieFest Returns To Downtown Canton
The annual event will be held Oct. 15, and all proceeds will go to Cherokee FOCUS.
CANTON, GA -- For Cherokee County's zombie lovers, downtown Canton will be the place to be on Saturday.
That's because ZombieFest will take over the central business district starting at 3 p.m. Oct. 15.
The entry fee is $5 per person. Children 11 and younger will be admitted for free, and admission for families is $20 for up to six people.

Gate entrances along Main Street will be at Academy Street, Dupree Street, East Marietta Street and North Street at Cannon Park.
A preview of Saturday's festivities will take place on Friday, Oct. 14 with the Zombie 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk, Creep or Crawl.

On-site registration, which is $30 for those 13 and older $20 for youth 12 or younger, will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the 5K starts at 7 p.m. The 1-Mile Walk gets underway at 6:30 p.m.
The out-and-back 5K route starts at the Etowah River Park (600 Brown Industrial Parkway) and takes runners and walkers through the path connector to Heritage park. Those participants will take the same path back to the Etowah River Park.
All proceeds for ZombieFest will benefit Cherokee FOCUS, a collaborative partnerships of various organizations and agencies in Cherokee County that support less fortunate families and children.
