Darnell Senior Multipurpose Facility Artists Walk Features Creativity of Participants and Professionals
The event was held on Sept. 25 and showcased the work of local artists.

Staff Report
The Harriett G. Darnell Senior Multipurpose Facility hosted its Third Annual Artists Walk on Thursday, September 25, 2014, with dozens of citizens viewing the creativity of Darnell Facility participants and local artists. The display, which was open Wednesday and Thursday featured personally designed greeting cards, paintings, jewelry, clothing, quilting and other forms of tapestry as well as creatively styled home goods. Those who believe that quilting is a fading art form would have been pleasantly surprised as dozens of colorful and meticulously designed quilts were on display. Participant creations were completed in Darnell Facility creative classes such as art, jewelry making and pottery.
For more information about classes offered at the Darnell Senior Multipurpose facility and Fulton County’s three other senior multipurpose facilities, call the Fulton County STARline at 404-613-6000.
