Fellowship of Faith Annual Foot Washing Service Tonight 7:00 pm

You are invited to a traditional foot washing service on New Year’s Eve at Fellowship of Faith Church International tonight December 31, 2013 beginning at 7:00 pm.

Pastor Wayne C. Thompson and the ministerial staff have engaged the congregation in a traditional foot washing service on New Year’s Eve since the inception of the ministry. The congregation convenes this special service because of its biblical significance and symbolism of compassion and servant-hood.   They consider the act of foot washing an appropriate way of expressing appreciation for being a yielded part of the Body of Christ. Through this ritual, the congregation illustrates its continued joy in serving others and renews its dedication to ministry to God’s people. The service is open and made available to all of the community for participation. (Please bring a towel.)
