National Coalition of 100 Black Women Announces Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser

The Ladies of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, MECCA Chapter are gearing up once again for their annual Legends of Fashion: Saluting Our Icons show which benefits the Little Ladies of MECCA.

According to a written release, "The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. (NCBW-MECCA) will host the event of the year on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Atlanta City Hall Atrium located at 55 Trinity Avenue.  The event is called, “Legends of Fashion: Saluting Our Icons” a fashion show that honors African-American Women in the fashion industry.

More than 50 models will grace the runway wearing designs from African-American designer collections recognized nationally and internationally. The models will have hair and makeup done by the renowned James Harris of Hair Fashion Group and will hit the stage promptly at 7:00 p.m. The event will end with a post dessert reception.

Cascade Patch was informed that all proceeds from the show will benefit the Little Ladies of Mecca Scholarship Fund. The Little Ladies of Mecca (LLM) is one of the organization’s premiere education and mentoring programs designed to empower and educate girls while developing them into future leaders of tomorrow.

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc.
