Atlanta, GA, December 6, 2013 - Earlier this week, Eshe´ Collins won the Atlanta Board of Education, District 6 seat in the December 3rd runoff election.
"I am honored and humbled to have earned the support of District 6 residents," Collins said. "We have a strong, student-focused board. There is much work to be done to create great schools in every neighborhood, but I am excited to begin our work together to fight for a better future for all of Atlanta's kids.
"I congratulate Dell Byrd on her campaign," Collins said. "I look forward to working with her as we continue to advocate for kids."
"The next year will see tremendous opportunities to move our district forward. I'm eager to roll up my sleeves and begin the hard work."
