SmartLunches Delivered to Cascade Corridor Kids

ATLANTA, GA — During the summer, many children go without a nutritious lunch that’s normally provided at school.

Earlier this week, Gas South’s 200 employees took a break from their normal routine to pack 1,000 lunches for Atlanta students who receive free or reduced lunch during the school year.

The program, called Smart Lunch, Smart Kid, is powered by MUST Ministries who will deliver the lunches to children who live in apartments in the Cascade Corridor, as well as apartments near Greater Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church on Joseph E Boone Blvd NW.

The lunches included PB&J sandwiches, chips, water, fruit snacks and fruit cups.
