SmartLunches Delivered to Cascade Corridor Kids
GasSouth employees packed more than 1,000 lunches for children who live in the community this week.
ATLANTA, GA β During the summer, many children go without a nutritious lunch thatβs normally provided at school.
Earlier this week, Gas Southβs 200 employees took a break from their normal routine to pack 1,000 lunches for Atlanta students who receive free or reduced lunch during the school year.
The program, called Smart Lunch, Smart Kid, is powered by MUST Ministries who will deliver the lunches to children who live in apartments in the Cascade Corridor, as well as apartments near Greater Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church on Joseph E Boone Blvd NW.
