'BLACK CHRONICLES II' Opening Reception + Illustrated Lecture by Renée Mussai, Autograph ABP curator and head of archive.

The Spelman College Museum of Fine Art will host the opening reception of the new exhibition, Black Chronicles II, and an illustrated lecture by Renée Mussai on Friday, Jan. 29, from 6:30 p.m.–9 p.m. The exhibition is curated by Mussai, Autograph ABP curator and head of archive, along with Mark Sealy, director of Autograph ABP.
Black Chronicles II is organized by Autograph ABP, in collaboration with the Hulton Archive, a division of Getty Images. The exhibition, which makes its Southeast debut at Spelman College Museum of Fine Art, makes available for the first time newly discovered photographs that document Black presence in late 19th century Britain.
The opening reception and illustrated lecture is free and open to the public. It will take place at Spelman College Museum of Fine Art in the Camilla Olivia Hanks Cosby, Ed.D Academic Center (GPS Address: 440 Westview Drive, Atlanta 30310).
