Spelman College Women's Research and Resource Center Presents "A Conversation with Gloria Steinem and bell hooks"

A conversation with women's rights activist and journalist Gloria Steinem and social activist and author bell hooks

The Spelman College Women’s Research and Resource Center will host a conversation with women’s rights activist and journalist Gloria Steinem and social activist and author bell hooks at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17. Steinem and hooks, both renowned pioneers in the Women’s Rights Movement, will discuss the Movement, and their literary careers, among other topics. A book signing for Steinem’s new book, My Life on the Road, will take place following the conversation.

Free and open to the public, this event will be held at Spelman College Camilla Olivia Hanks Cosby, Ed.D. Academic Center Auditorium (GPS Address: 440 Westview Drive, Atlanta 30310). For more information, visit www.spelman.edu.
