Spelman Sisters Chapel Family Weekend Worship Service with the Rev. Dr. Jo Ann Browning Set for Feb. 21
Rev. Dr. Jo Ann Browning is the guest speaker for Spelman College Family Weekend Worship Service

Spelman College Sisters Chapel will host a Family Weekend Worship Service Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Jo Ann Browning, co-pastor of Ebenezer AME Church in Fort Washington, Md., is the guest speaker. In addition to her pastoral responsibilities at Ebenezer AME, Rev. Browning has preached, taught, and facilitated workshops throughout the United States, Haiti, Bermuda, Barbados, Germany, Israel and South Africa.
For almost a century, Sisters Chapel has hosted renowned national and world leaders who have helped to nurture generations of Spelman women for leadership and service. The Chapel has become a space for thinking women of faith who seek ethical leadership development of the mind and spirit as they engage the world and become global leaders.
Family Weekend at Spelman College is Friday, Feb. 19 to Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016. The weekend of activities and events will include entertainment, campus tours and sessions on financial aid and community service.
