Tau Epsilon Omega Supports Tracey Wyatt Back to School Bash

An event such as the Tracey Wyatt Annual Back-to-School Bash takes a lot of planning, coordination, financing, and manpower. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated’s Tau Epsilon Omega Chapter (TEO) was on hand to help in this endeavor. Prior to the August 4th event, members of the sorority held four backpacking parties. There they filled numerous backpacks with school supplies which will be given out at the annual event hosted by College Park Ward 3 Councilman Tracey Wyatt. Along with the manpower to fill these backpacks, TEO provided funding to purchase many of the school supplies. This year the event will take place at two locations. Backpack distribution will begin at The Tracey Wyatt Recreation Center located at 2300 Godby Road, College Park, Georgia, from 10:00a.m. t0 2:00pm. and end at the Richard D. Zupp Jr. Park located at 1622 Hawthorne Avenue, College Park, Georgia from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. Along with the backpack distribution, there will be concessions stands, popcorn machines and fun for all.
