Host Free Small Business Seminar

Contracts, Capital and Capacity Summit

Atlanta, GA – The Urban League of Greater Atlanta and Wells Fargo announced a small business seminar to be held on May 19, 2015, and within a few short days, registration filled to capacity – a clear sign that entrepreneurs throughout the metro region are eager to advance. Media are invited to meet the area’s entrepreneurs who are poised to drive job growth in our communities.

The free, day-long seminar will expose small business owners to new tools to expand their contracts, capital and capacity. It begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. at the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, 235 Andrew Young International Blvd. NW. The event includes meals and a reception for networking with various Atlanta area business professionals.

β€œWe were so gratified by the response to our announcement of this seminar. We know it will provide extremely valuable information to strengthen small businesses and open doors of opportunity,” said ULGA President and CEO Nancy F. Johnson. β€œWe extend our deepest thanks to Wells Fargo for its commitment to building a strong business community in the Atlanta area.”

β€œWells Fargo is excited to host this summit with our partners at the Urban League of Greater Atlanta’s Entrepreneurship Center. We are pleased to share innovative tools like the Wells Fargo Works Project, which aims to help small businesses take their next step,” said Wells Fargo Bank Vice President and Senior Community Development Officer Pamela Cross. β€œAlthough, these workshops are a small part of our efforts to support business owners, we hope events like these have a huge impact for our customers and communities,” Cross said.
