West End Hosts Baby Fair On Saturday

The Atlanta chapters of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority will host a free Stork's Nest prenatal and parenting workshop during the 14th Annual Stork's Nest Blitz: Baby and Health Fair.

The fair will take place Saturday, May 5, 2012 at The Mall West End from noon to 5pm, with the prenatal workshop beginning at 2 pm in the community room.

The baby and health fair is free and open to the public, including a "Zumba with the Zetas" session in the center of the mall at 3:30 pm.

Representatives from the Black Women's Wellness West End Clinic and other baby care vendors will be on site to provide life saving information for the mothers-to-be. Attendees will have the chance to win baby car seats provided by the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department, as well as receive special gifts and door prizes.

The Blitz is an extension of the Stork’s Nest, a collaborative prenatal education program for low-income pregnant women sponsored nationwide by the Zetas and the March of Dimes. The sorority is accepting donations for newborn items, as well as maternity clothes, toiletry items, diaper bags and children’s books to distribute at the Blitz.
