9 Sex Offenders Arrested During Sheriff's Operation Watchful Eye
Nine sex offenders in Forsyth were arrested in the past week during "Operation Watchful Eye," a coordinated effort between three agencies.

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — Nine sex offenders in Forsyth County were arrested in the past week during "Operation Watchful Eye," a coordinated effort between three agencies. The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Unit, Forsyth County Sheriff’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit and the Georgia Department of Community Supervision participated in a sweep to ensure compliance per probation conditions on Forsyth sex offenders.
The following arrests were made:
• On May 21, Jody Lee Flowers was arrested for violating the conditions of his probation by possessing pornographic DVDs.

• On May 21, Deon Brinkley was arrested for violating the conditions of his parole by having unsupervised contact with minors.
• On May 22, Christopher Woodall was arrested for violating the conditions of his parole by possessing pornographic material on his phone.

• On May 22, Thomas Flynn was arrested for violating the conditions of his probation by possessing pornographic material on his computer and phone.
• On May 22, Michael Brashear was arrested for violating the conditions of his probation by possessing pornographic material on his phone.
• On May 22, Salvador Lauricella was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and two probation violations from Cherokee and Paulding Counties for the new felony charge and for possessing alcohol.
• On May 23, Stephen Moon was arrested for violating the conditions of his probation by possessing pornographic material on his phone.
• On May 23, Alex Ethan Lane was arrested for violating the conditions of his probation by possessing pornographic material on his phone and for possessing social media on his phone. Lane is not a registered sex offender.
• May 24, Kenny Turner was arrested for violating the conditions of his probation by possessing two phones which had not been monitored, possession of pornographic material on the phones, and for possibly living somewhere else than his registered address.
The sex offender sweep by Forsyth County Sheriff's Office held in October 2017 resulted in twenty-five offenders searched and four arrested.
